The Polaris IT-4B is a professional-grade multi-tap mechanical insulated connector designed to form secure connections between two conductors. It accommodates copper or aluminum wires ranging from 4 AWG to 14 AWG and features a single-sided wire entry configuration. Constructed from a durable aluminum alloy body, it is wrapped in high-dielectric plastisol insulation that provides excellent resistance against abrasion, chemicals, and UV light while remaining flame-retardant. The connector comes pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor within its ports, and incorporates removable access plugs over the internal hex screws to protect against dust, moisture, and debris. Rated for 600V at 90 degrees Celsius, it installs efficiently using a hex key and torque wrench without the need for additional wrapping or electrical tape. This unit is in used fair condition
